eSIM,
decoded.

Compatible phones, UK networks, and how to activate.

What Is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM permanently built into your device. Activate a mobile plan by scanning a QR code — no store visit. Activation takes 2–5 minutes.

Check If Your Phone Supports eSIM

Dial *#06#. If you see an EID number alongside your IMEI, your device supports eSIM.

Compatible Devices

iPhone: XS and all later. Dual eSIM on iPhone 13+. Samsung Galaxy: S20 and later S-series. Google Pixel: Pixel 3 and all later models.

Which UK Networks Support eSIM?

All major UK networks: EE, O2, Three, Vodafone, VOXI, Giffgaff, iD Mobile, SMARTY (rolling out), Sky Mobile (SIM Only), Tesco Mobile (via CS/store).

How to Activate

1. Choose a plan and select eSIM. 2. Receive QR code by email or in app. 3. iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM. 4. Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager. 5. Activates within 2–5 minutes.

Dual eSIM Tips

iPhone 13+ supports two active lines simultaneously. Keep your UK number active while adding a local data eSIM when abroad.
